Filosofía política

People make government, policy and budgets. The role of government is to facilitate this process, making sure people have the mechanisms by which to make sound and responsible policy. People come together through their diverse interest and support groups, whether large institutions or small community associations. Some people don't participate in any groups but also deerve the ear of government to respond and enact sound policy and responsive budgets. My philosophy has emerged from the success of democratic practice at the community level and my expertise is dialogue, conflict managment, group process and peace negotiations. In the midst of war and trauma, crime zones and commuities devastated by profit-motivated and myopic policy, which produces homelessness and economic inequity, people can come together to partner as government to create practices that check avarice, profiteering and plain political corporate abuse in order to dispell crime, and create community that can negotiate our diverse self-interests for the common good (to be continued)
