I grew up in the Valley. As the daughter of immigrant parents and the first in my family to graduate from college, I know firsthand what it means to overcome poverty, get a good education, find a good job, and climb to the middle class. I’m running for State Senate because too many people in the Valley are getting left behind. I aim to advocate for all our families for access to quality schools, healthcare, high-wage jobs, and the opportunity for a better life. As a labor organizer, healthcare advocate, city councilmember, and valley native I have the knowledge and experience necessary to succeed in delivering these results for Valley families.
Senate District 14 deserves a representative that has the necessary allies at the state and local level, as well as the necessary relationships with local communities, to deliver the state resources needed for local businesses to succeed and for Valley families to be prosperous and healthy. I believe I can be that representative.
