Statement to the Voters of the 13th Assembly District

Summary

My statement of qualifications to become your next Assemblymember for the 13th Assembly District.

We are in uncertain times with COVID19 and the inequality many in our community feel. We need new leadership to recover from COVID19 and heal our community. That is why I am running to represent you in the State Legislature as your Assemblymember for the 13th Assembly District.

When our community needed leaders most, I was proud to be front and center, volunteering my time to feed families who were in need, and joinign many who peacefully protestec against inequality, and to ensure that every member of our community be treated equally and fairly.

But there is so much more work to do. I continue to be committed to providing affordable health care for San Joaquin County as I have in the past, preventing the closure of the County General Hospital, providing our community with affordable, quality, Health Care.

I'll ensure our educational dollars are spent in the classroom with teachers and students, and focus on vocational trades, so that we can attract more good paying jobs, ensuring we have a housing supply that our regiona can afford, so that not a single hard working man, woman or family, is forced out of having a stable roof over their head.

I'm proud to be endorsed by such a wide cross section of our community, from the San Joaquin County Farm Bureau, to the California Teachers Association, to our public safety first responders like the Stockton Police Officers Association and the San Joaquin County Deputy Sheriffs Association, and would be honored to have your vote in the November 3rd General Election.
