Political Philosophy

In my four years on the RBUSD board, we have balanced the budget every year – restoring cuts, and preserving jobs while increasing reserves. We have implemented solar power, Chromebooks, and infrastructure improvements that have saved money and improved the learning environment. Test scores are up, morale is great, and enrollment is soaring as a result.

I have also represented RBUSD for the last four years as a member and President of the SoCal ROC Board of Education. During my time there I led the charge to save SoCal ROC and chaired the committee of superintendents, business officers, and school board members that created its new funding model. The future of SoCal ROC is still uncertain, but I will move them into the future with an improved revenue model and course selection over the next four years.

I pledge to be an advocate for all students.
