I proudly call Orange County home: my husband and I raised our children here, and I own my small business here.
In 2016, a City employee embezzled $5,000,000 of taxpayer money. I was outraged, so I ran for office for the first time and was elected as a Councilwoman. Since my election, I helped my city recover from that crime, became Mayor, and delivered results:
Launched our own Fire Department, saving $28,000,000
Created California’s first joint City-County infrastructure district, producing 5,000 high-paying jobs
Streamlined business license processes to help new small businesses
Provided housing for homeless veterans
Grants, flexible City approvals, and other support during COVID
With my experience as a small businessowner, Councilwoman, and Mayor, I know how to bring together best practices from both the public and private sectors.
