My Top 3 Priorities
If re-elected, I intend to continue protecting tenants across the state. I will continue to champion policies that protect tenants from eviction during this pandemic and recession.
As Assembly Housing Chair, I have and will continue the fight to build more housing, particularly 100% affordable housing, housing near jobs and transit, and housing that addresses the racial and economic inequalities of the Bay Area.
Since my days as a civil rights attorney, I have fought for immigrants, women, people of color and our LGBTQ community. That work is even more critical now, and I will continue to fight for equal opportunity for all.
