My Top 3 Priorities

  • Education: I will ensure that the students and teachers in my district have all the resources needed to embark on a lifetime journey of learning, regardless of their zip code. I will support funding for both STEM and the arts.
  • Homelessness: To not have a house is not a crime. Economic, social, medical, and housing barriers to housing must be removed, so that we can address the crisis of homelessness in humane and viable ways.
  • Small Business: I will encourage candidates and legislation that will help small business owners in our community to grow, thrive, and turn green. I will also support working families, green jobs, and the fight for a $15 minimum wage.

I am from a family of proud Democrats. On November 9th, 2016, I realized that I was not doing enough to safeguard our democracy. The election of Donald Trump was a wake up call that propelled my activism into high gear.

Right away, I organized with Resist LA, compelling Senator Feinstein to hold a town hall. I called Members of Congress to save the Affordable Care Act (ACA). After participating in the historic Women's March LA 2017, I joined Indivisible Beach Cities and then Indivisible South Bay L.A. Indivisible is thousands of local volunteer organizations whose mission is to cultivate a grassroots movement of activists to elect progressive leaders, realize bold progressive policies, and rebuild our democracy.

I have spent last 3 years organizing protests and town halls, registering voters, and turning red districts into blue all over the nation. I have been greatly involved in the campaigns of Congresswoman Katie Porter (CA45), Congresswoman Katie Hill (CA25), and Assemblyman Al Muratsuchi (AD66).

  • I am a Steering Committee Member and Action/Allyship Chair for Indivisible Beach Cities.

  • I organize local protests for national organizations such as- MoveOn.Org,, Code Pink, #StopThe Bans, ACLU, Indivisible etc.

  • I am a Co-Organizer of monthly lobby meetings with Congressman Ted Lieu (CA33), and visit other representatives such as Assemblyman Al Muratsuchi, State Senator Ben Allen, Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Senator Feinstein, and Senator Harris, to advocate on behalf of the constituents.

  • I am Fundraising Trustee for Progressive Democratic Club.

  • I do voter-outreach for Democrats all over the nation to flip red districts blue.

  • I develop and teach strategies on how to talk to right-wingers.

I am endorsed by: Assemblyman Al Muratsuchi, Indivisible Beach Cities, Indivisible South Bay L.A., Progressive Democratic Club, Torrance Democratic Club, Kashmir Human Rights Foundation, and Kashmir American Humane Society. I will be honored to have your vote on MARCH 3, 2020 Presidential Primary Ballot. Thank you.
