Biography

As a Progressive Grassroots Activist, I have dedicated thousands of hours to electing Democrats and advancing Democratic causes and ideals, through actively campaigning for candidates and issues, organizing events and candidate forums, and serving in leadership positions.

I am currently serving my 10th term as President of the West LA Democratic Club, sit on the Executive Board of the California Democratic Party, and am an elected Member of the Central Committee of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party, sitting on the Candidate Interview Committee.  I support and endorse those candidates and issues that are most closely aligned with the progressive agenda.  In 2018, I was Co-Chair of the Westside Democratic HQ, which was instrumental in flipping the House of Representatives and turning Orange County Blue.  This year I am the Vice-Chair of the Westside Democratic HQ, chairing the Fundraising and Events Committee.

In 2009 I was honored as the California Democratic Party Volunteer of the Year, Region 14, and in 2014 as the Los Angeles County Democratic Party Democrat of the Year, AD62.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I am a strong proponent of promoting economic and social justice, and Overturning Citizen's United is a big first step.  I promote Single-Payer Healthcare for All and support efforts to obtain quality, affordable education for all, from pre-school through 4-year University.  I work toward ensuring clean, fair and transparent elections and restoration of all parts of the Voting Rights Act.  Fracking must be eliminated and Green Energy supported at all levels.  As a Member of County Central Committee, I submit resolutions and work to ensure that constituent issues, ideas and concerns are heard and addressed by the Democratic Party.
