Mis 3 prioridades principales
Public Safety – This needs to be the number one issue for the Board of Supervisors. The current BOS has not taken a bold step in solving the homeless problem.
Budget – The County Budget is out of control financially. The current BOS has no idea how to run cost effective and efficient systems across all departments. Over the last several years the County operations have grown larger than needed.
Housing – As Chairman of the Lakeside Planning Group I have know that land issues are often the main items on our agendas with affordable housing being the most often debated. Currently the State of California is mandating too much.
Experiencia
Biografía
I have been self-employed for over 30 years and in that time, I have learned the importance of having a good business plan in order to achieve success in a wide range of projects. I have a proven track record in the building industry. In addition to my strong and determined work ethic, I understand the need to set goals for every phase of a project as well as taking advice from others along the way. Being a team builder is the best way to archive the desired outcome and overcome obstacles.
As Chairman of the Lakeside Planning Group I have been able to deal with land developer issues and individual issues effecting the residents of Lakeside in a positive and informative manner. Listening to both sides of any issue is often difficult but necessary when you are solving community issues.

Brian “One Term” Sesko will bring fresh ideas to the County and will not be tied to the multiple special interest groups that have their own agendas for how things should be run. I want to set up requirements for all departments to perform at a higher level of efficiency and reduce costs.
I would also recommend that we transfer the authority of the current centralized and un elected county planning commission to the individually Elected Planning Groups who are more in tune with the specific needs of their communities.
Lastly, the BOS will never again vote themselves a raise.

Biografía
I’m a San Diego native and an East County resident of 30 years. I graduated from Valhalla High School and earned my Master of Science in Counseling from SDSU (Go Aztecs!). I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and during my 30-year career, I’ve worked in schools, primary care, and with veterans and seniors addressing mental health issues, substance abuse, and homelessness across East County. My career has required me to bring people together while navigating our complex government bureaucracy. This experience has prepared me for the job - I know what our communities need and I know how to advocate for these services.
