Mis 3 prioridades principales

  • Neighborhood Protection: I will encourage outreach programs for neighborhood pride and team clean-up efforts, protect quality of life, find traffic solutions and build up our community through shared experiences and common values.
  • Fiscal Accountability: I will be a wise steward of taxpayers’ money, provide independent oversight and accountability with ethical behavior and give an honest explanation on service limits and what it truly costs to keep our city running strong.
  • Public Safety: We must ensure that our police, fire and public works departments have adequate resources to keep up with our growing population.

Adrienne is a homeowner having lived in Orange for over three decades.  She has deep roots of service in the community which includes: Orange Community Foundation, Orange Community Historical Society, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Old Towne Preservation Association, Orange Rotary, Pitcher Park Foundation, Orange Community Chorus, Santiago Greenway Alliance, Friends of the Orange Public Library, and the YWCA of Central Orange County.

Adrienne Gladson was elected as President of the Orange Community Historical Society in 1994 and served until 1999.  She graduated from Leadership Orange in 1996.  In 2007, the City Council unanimously appointed her to the Orange Design Review Committee and the Planning Commission in 2011, where she presently serves.  She was selected by her Commission colleagues as Chair from April 2015 - March 2017.

Adrienne’s vast experience in city government has taken her beyond Orange - she has worked in city planning in Placentia, Garden Grove, and Brea. She retired from government service in 2015 and today she owns her own small business that specializes in mentoring and training planning commission members and staff. She also serves in the North Orange County development arena on entitlement projects, providing land use advice and insights to private developers. Adrienne does not take clients or represent projects in the City of Orange.

Adrienne’s extensive knowledge of city planning, land use, planning and environmental law, entitlement process, historic preservation, and urban design, makes her a valuable member of the Planning Commission and has prepared her to serve as our City Council Member on day one.
