Biografía

Christine has called Brea home since 2003. She and her husband were initially drawn to Brea for its hometown feel, abundant shopping and dining, and central Orange County location. You might remember the couple as they were featured in the 2006 Sunset magazine feature story naming Brea one of the best places to live in the West.

A few years later, when the couple had an opportunity to relocate elsewhere in Orange County, they invested again in Brea, demonstrating their deep commitment to the community they came to love.

In 2010, Christine was appointed to the Brea Planning Commission. Since 2012, Christine has served our community as a member of the City Council including Mayor Pro Tem in 2014 and 2015 and Mayor in 2016.  In addition, she presently chairs the city's Investment Advisory Committee and serves on Orange County's Library Advisory Board and Waste Management Commission.

Born and raised in Washington, DC, Christine’s intellectual capacity and professional background have served the city well. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in Foreign Service with a focus on International Economics from Georgetown University and an MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA where she graduated in the top 2% of her class.

Christine worked in municipal bonds for the investment firm Payden & Rygel. Along with her husband, Christine is raising two kids who attend school in Brea. The family is active in the community and participates in a variety of sports; in fact, by 2014, all four members of the family earned their black belts in Tae Kwon Do.
