United States Marine Corps Veteran Erik Peterson was elected to the Huntington Beach City Council in 2014. Re-elected in 2018, he served as Huntington Beach Mayor from 2019 through 2020. As a Council Member, Erik serves as a Director on the Orange County Sanitation District and the Southern California Association of Governments.
A Huntington Beach small business owner, Erik founded Intec Network Solutions in 1999, an electrical contracting company specializing in commercial Fire Alarms and security serving both Southern and Northern California.
Erik and his wife Brandi call Huntington Beach home, where they raised their two sons. Erik is a member of the Huntington Beach American Legion Post 133.
