My Top 3 Priorities

  • Ensuring public safety along with a common sense approach to alternative sentencing. Public safety is a priority but I also believe in using alternative solutions for lower level offenses where there are substance abuse or mental health issues.
  • Create trust in the justice system through transparency and equitable justice. Every case is different. I will give each case individual attention and consideration. I will make decisions according to the law and in a fair unbiased manner.
  • Increase diversity in the Los Angeles County Superior Court. As a new attorney 30 years ago, I had very few female role models on the bench. Currently, just over 30 percent of judges are women and I want to be a part of the increasing diversity.
