Biography

As a special education behavioral expert, I am able to see the impact on how education can transform lives.

Growing up in the east and south side Stockton there are definite disadvantages that our students face because of their ZIP code. It has been a mission to create equal opportunities for our youth to share their voices and be prosperous. Having diverse community input must be at the forefront of the Stockton Unified School District’s agenda.

Working in the classroom has provided great insight into the gaps that affect our students and teachers. Due to the lack of resources, students become less engaged in their educational careers.

I am running for Stockton Unified School District Board of Trustees Area 3 because our students deserve to be set up for success after they graduate. Some have the privilege of going to college, and some have to go straight to the workforce to support their families; it is our responsibility to expose students to the opportunity of success. Supporting our teachers and holding the district accountable gets us one step closer.

#UniteForStudentSuccess for all Stockton Unified schools.
