RINCON RANCH COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT
SPECIAL TAX ELECTION
COUNTY COUNSEL IMPARTIAL ANALYSIS
This measure was placed on the ballot by the governing board of the Rincon Ranch Community Services District (“District”). This measure, if approved by two-third [sic] of the qualified electors voting on the measure, will establish an annual special tax on all taxable real property within the District.
This measure requests voters approve special taxes in an amount up to $6.00 per acre, or portion thereof, plus $170.00 per parcel. For example, one parcel consisting of ten acres would pay $230.00 (10 x $60.00 + $170.00 = $230.00) and one parcel consisting of one acre or smaller would pay $176.00 (1 x $6.00 = $6.00 + $170.00 = $176.00).
If two-thirds of the qualified electors voting on this measure vote for approval, the special tax will be imposed annually until repealed by the District or the voters.
This measure requires that all special tax revenue be used for the purposes of repairing and resurfacing of the roads maintained by the District.
A “YES” vote is a vote in favor of establishing a special tax for the purposes of repairing and resurfacing the roads maintained by the District.
A “NO” vote is a vote against establishing a special tax for the purposes of repairing and resurfacing the roads maintained by the District.
