Biography
Stephen Whitburn won the March primary election for San Diego City Council District 3.
Stephen has lived in District 3 for over 20 years and has served on numerous City committees, nonprofit boards, and community organizations.
An award-winning nonprofit leader, Stephen served professionally as a regional director for both the American Red Cross and the American Cancer Society. He also served as executive director of San Diego Pride.
Stephen is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. He earned his Leadership Certificate from the Center for Executive Development at UC San Diego's Rady School of Management.
Stephen is also proficient in Spanish.
