Tri-City Medical Center is in my blood. I was born and raised in Oceanside and my father was among the visionary business leaders involved in the founding of Tri-City Healthcare District in the 1950s. He served on the Foundation board and I inherited his commitment to quality healthcare at the hospital that serves our community. I have been a volunteer leader on the Tri-City Hospital Foundation for many years, serving as fundraiser, Diamond Ball Gala chair, grant chair, and donor. I have also experienced the hospital as a grateful patient. Attending Healthcare District board meetings for many years, I have witnessed the transition from the challenges of years ago to the good governance of today’s board leadership. I will continue this movement in a positive direction. We will work to ensure that access to quality healthcare for our families and communities will continue for decades to come. Our hospital is more than a building—it is made up of caring professionals committed to ensuring that the highest standards of medicine are maintained, always striving to do better and be better. I would be honored to be part of the leadership team that secures excellence now and in the future.
