I am respected in the Cardiff community as a valued leader and boardmember who serves with enthusiasm, wisdom and conviction bringing the combined perspective of businesswoman and educator.

All Cardiff school district children are bridge-builders helping America succeed in our global society.

I am a lifelong supporter of public schools. My family and I are products of those California public schools from kindergarten through graduate work. 

A Cardiff school district trustee must:

- work diligently to make our outstanding schools even better.

- Provide the leadership necessary to ensure the highest quality education for every student. 

- Work collaboratively and transparently with staff, parents, and fellow board members. 

- Efficiently use resources to provide our students with a strong academic, innovative and relevant instruction in a safe, inspiring environment.

I am a passionate supporter of children and request the honor to continue serving on the Cardiff school board. Funding, facilities and test scores have dramatically improved during my tenure.

•        Served as a Cardiff School District board member 2006-2010. Board President in 2010. 

•        Serve as chair of Cardiff and San Dieguito general obligation bond independent citizen’s oversight committees. 

•        Experienced and successful as an instructional designer, editorial manager, team leader, event manager, content specialist, designer, media producer, facilitator, instructional content provider, teacher, editor, and writer. 

•        Developer of educational materials for mathematics, science, language arts, literature, social studies, and foreign languages content areas, as well as adult learning content, health and medical information, educational games, and continuing professional development.

I believe in public schools. I graduated from public schools and all my children are Cardiff and San Dieguito graduates. I continue to volunteer in the Cardiff School so that we can provide the best education for our students.

School board members should promote a positive, collaborative, transparent relationships with teachers, staff, parents, and the community.

Executive leader experienced in the art of bringing together diverse people, organizations, and cultures to achieve success.  My number one priority will be to bring both sides together and get Cardiff Elementary built within budget.  As a graduate of San Diego State University, I am proud to call Cardiff by the Sea my home.  This is my opportunity to give back to the community that has given so much to me and my family.  My commitment to each of you: Will tirelessly work to get Cardiff Elementary built; transparency with all data and communication; openness to ideas regardless of where they originate; and my availability to you as fellow citizens and tax payers.
