I currently serve as your Vice Mayor for the City of Dublin. Our City is an incredible place -- for several years running, its been named as the fastest growing City in the region, and one of the best places in the Country to raise a family. People have come from around the world to Dublin, in search of a safe place, with a kind, diverse community, with excellent schools and amenities to live and raise a family. That’s why I came to Dublin -- I actually grew up over the hill just 20 minutes from here, but I moved to Dublin 17 years ago and have been a proud resident ever since. From my time here, I can tell you that we Dubliners pride ourselves around being a residential hub for people working in Silicon Valley, seeking the American Dream.

By day, I am a Civil Engineer -- I have a Bachelors and Masters in Civil Engineering, and have hands-on experience working on infrastructure projects across Alameda County and the Bay Area.  I began my career in public service however, as a neighborhood volunteer. I eventually became the President of my local HOA, where I worked hard to provide great services, keep fees low, and balance budgets with accountability and transparency. It’s part of my DNA, and I’ve brought those same skills with me to my work at City Hall. As your Council Member for the past 4 years, I’ve built a track record that has voted to push for better housing, smoother transit and transportation, and a strong business sector that has helped promote economic development and support entrepreneurs. During these challenging times, as your Mayor, I want to build on our progress and be a strong independent, and unbiased leader, focused on prioritizing Dublin residents and their needs.

I am running for Mayor to :

• PAUSE out of control development in our City and return our focus on affordable housing and senior housing, while supporting our schools

• Support Small Business and Ensure that Everyone Benefits from our Recovery

• To Bring Excellent partnerships between City Hall and our Schools

• And Pause Market Rate Housing, and Ensure Smart, Balanced, and Sustainable Growth  and Infrastructure to our City

I will be fully committed to my role as your Mayor. Unlike many of our past and current Dublin Council Members, I have never shown any intent to run for any other office because my loyalty to do better for Dublin is 100%. I think that developers have had too much influence in our city for too long, and I am proud to be running a clean money, no developer no special interest funded campaign. I am endorsed by the Sierra Club, the Independent Newspaper, and supported by residents and public officials from across the region,  and I’d be humbled and honored to earn your vote by Mail this General Election.
