Vote YES on Measure O to decrease administrative costs in Lowell Joint School District and help us better serve all students who attend our local schools. Measure O to supports parent connectedness throughout the Lowell Joint School District and Fullerton Joint Union High School District, at no cost to taxpayers.
Lowell Joint School District is currently under the jurisdiction of the Los Angeles County Office of Education for administrative support services costing the District approximately $250,000 annually.
Lowell Joint School District has three schools located in Orange County and three schools located in Los Angeles County. The majority of Lowell Joint School District students reside in Orange County. Regardless of the student's county of residence, 99% of all students attending Lowell Joint School District schools attend high schools in the Fullerton Joint Union High School District which is 100% located in Orange County.
Measure O will permanently save Lowell Joint School District almost $250,000 annually by transferring administrative support from Los Angeles County Office of Education to Orange County Department of Education, which provide these services for free. This savings in administrative costs goes directly back to the classroom to support high-quality education to local students.

Measure O will allow Lowell Joint School District to be 100% supported by Orange County Department of Education with the following benefits:
- Coordinated academic services with Fullerton Joint Union High School District
- TK-12 grade curriculum development and program
- Continued streamlined special education support services
- Coordinated social/emotional services with Fullerton Joint Union High School District
- Career-training education and opportunities continue in alignment with Fullerton Joint Union High School District
- $850,000 STEM grant in coordination with La Habra High School and Fullerton Community College
- Joint professional development for Lowell Joint School District teachers
Vote YES on Measure O to support PTA continuity
All Lowell Joint School District Parent Teacher Association (PTA) teams are active members of the North Orange County PTA Council and transition to PTA associations within Fullerton Joint Union High School District, which creates continuity of program and support.
Vote YES on Measure O to permanently save Lowell Joint School District $250,000 annually and free up funds to benefit local students.
