My Top 3 Priorities
To ensure student needs are a priority by minimizing the bureaucracy of the school district. As an educator, I know the significance of having more resources to help students achieve greater gains and increase graduation rates.
Engage parents by providing tools and resources that bring them into the academic world of their children – placing a focus on learning, growth, and higher learning advancement.
My focus will include conducting audits to make the operations of the school district more transparent; ending wasteful programs and realigning funds with programs and services that enable and empower students, teachers, and parents.

Political Beliefs
Political Philosophy
I am a committed Democrat who believes public education should provide a high quality academic experience with measurable outcomes and supportive programs to help all students excel. I believe in a fair and equitable educational system that places the needs of students ahead of politics and special interests. My view is that teachers need greater recognition and resources, including training, to allow them to advance student gains and boost graduation rates that lead to greater enrollment into higher learning institutions.
