Raised my four children here, with one still in high school, I care deeply about this community, have volunteered in it (18 years on the school board), and plan to live here forever. Graduated #1 in my class from Brigham Young University in Marketing. That experience, along with my career experience of managing 200 retail stores in 32 states, helps me deal with renovating our city's most important revenue-generator, the Laguna Hills Mall.

My Top 3 Priorities
- public safety; burglaries are down this year, response time from firefighters is down, too. These were two of my priorities last year, and will continue to be so.
- Redevelop Laguna Hills mall property. I have worked with the developer. They are re-imagining the property, which in the long term, will benefit Laguna hills, spending up to $300 million on it, making it the largest mall renovation in the country.
- Community Feel: strengthen the Memorial Day event, continue to support the marine corps 3/5 battalion. 4th of July; bring holiday decor back, etc.

Political Philosophy
So my decisions are with a long-term lens, with quality of life the top priority. We also need to find ways to provide affordable housing alternatives so our children can afford to live here! We must invest in public schools, in our infrastructure, creating enough highways and freeways to support the growing population. I am fiscally conservative. That is why LH is one of the only cities in the state without problems relating to unfunded pension liabilities. We also have a large financial cushion, protecting us against the crisis that we read about in other cities.
