CITY OF SAN DIEGO--City Councilmember District 4

Pro-Life Advocate/Local Businessman

As a pro-life advocate, I oppose abortion and euthanasia. I believe both the born and unborn have a right to life. Both are persons. The U.S. Constitution states no person shall be deprived of life without due process.

I support our senior citizens. Elderly have a right to be free from abuse, neglect, and exploitation. They have a right to dignity and integrity of their persons.

I support the less fortunate. The lack of affordable housing in our city is becoming more urgent every day. Homelessness, with mental illness, is reaching crisis proportions. Too many leaders choose to ignore the problem and punish others because of their poverty.

I stand for a color-blind community. I stand for a community in which all persons are embraced for their efforts in working toward a healthy, clean, and safe district. It's time for us to lift the community up. It’s time to work together as one community.
