I am a proud product of the Glendale Unified School District, and truly understand the diverse needs of the Glendale community. I attended Glendale Community College achieving Dean's list. I graduated from USC with a BS in Anthropology and later continued with my Graduate Studies in Anthropology at Cal State University, Los Angeles.
I began my career working as the head of the Business office of vocational school for court reporting, where I learned the intricacies of Title IV funding and Financial Aid. I later established my business The Counting House, a boutique accounting and business management firm in Glendale. I am honored to be able to get involved in many community organizations, currently as Past-President of Glendale Sunrise Rotary, Treasure of Glendale Educational Foundation, Vice President of the Glendale Rose Float Assocation, Treasurer of Silver Lake Chamber of Commerce. I also have the pleasure to serve as a lecturer at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. I have the unique experience of being a student at GCC, an administrator and an educator in higher education.
I am grateful to the community that gave me the strong foundation needed to accomplish all that I have been able to, and would like to give back to that community.
