My Top 3 Priorities

  • The best possible education environment for each and every student.
  • Competitive wages within a safe and secure work environment for our staff.
  • Reaching beyond our district boundaries to improve our district..

I am a 54 year old mother of two ( 18 and 14 years old). An accountant by trade who gave up the 9 to 5 to raise our children. 13 years ago my daughter began kindergarden at Romoland Elementary School, the oldest school in our distrist. This past year my son promoted from our newest school, Ethan A Chase Middle School. 13 years ago I started this journay with Romoland school district. First as an involed parent. I have chartered 4 parent organizations in our district, volunteered in our classrooms and librarieis. This volunteer work evoled into classifed subsitute work for 3 years for our district. Five years ago I won a seat on our Board of Trustees. We have grown the district in so many ways beyond the number of students we serve. We have an amazing staff that pick up every challegne thrown down, rather it be from the federal, state or district levels. California State Standards have been embraced and curriclums developed. Teachers and staff are encouraged to bring their ideas and inovations forward. This is one way we grow. Our technology program out paces most districts in the county.  Beyond RSd I have been elected as a Delegate to California School Board Association's Delegate Assembly and am serving my 2nd term. I am also serving my 2nd term on the Riverside County School Board Association's executive board. Each of the extended service postions help me gather experinces and information to bring back to our district, another way we grow.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I am a party registered voter. Yet when it comes to school district grovening I find political parties mean very little. We work for what is best for students not a politcal policy. Romoland is currently lead by a conservation board which I am proud to be a part of.
