My Top 3 Priorities

  • I HOPE TO HELP GUIDE RVSD ON A PATH AWAY FROM ITS RECENT TROUBLED PAST TO A FUTURE OF RESPONSIBLE AND COST-EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT. SERIOUS ERRORS AND MALFEASANCE IN RECENT YEARS ARE NOW BEING REVERSED. I HOPE TO CONTINUE THIS TREND.
  • RVSD MUST MAINTAIN ITS EXISTING SYSTEM OF SEWER PIPES AND PUMPING STATIONS, PLAN FOR FUTURE SYSTEM UPGRADES AND ASSURE A SECURE FISCAL PICTURE WHEREIN RATE-PAYERS GET THE OPTIMAL SERVICE FOR THE LOWEST POSSIBLE COST.
  • Explore means to standardize standards, procedures and applicable regulations and fees associated with point-of-sale sewer lateral inspections of residences.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

Public entities like Ross Valley Sanitary District should not reflect political fashions. This District exists for a single purpose -- the efficient, safe and economical transfer of waste-water from area residences and businesses to the local treatment facility.

As such the system is comprised of lateral connection pipes, main collection pipes and pumping stations. The maintaenance of these facilities is everyone's concern and everyone pays for it. The District's Board is there principally to assure that the funds that residents contribute to the system's operation are spent wisely and that future needs are planned for and met in a professionally competent manner.
