My Top 3 Priorities

  • Invest in community infrastructure. Ensure general fund tax dollars are spent wisely and on local infrastructure, not subsidies for billionaires.
  • Reduce 9-1-1 Wait Times. Focus on emergency services to make sure our families and neighborhoods have strong public safety agencies.
  • Smart And Balanced Growth. Protect the character and quality of our neighborhoods. Say no to overcrowding and increased traffic in Mission Valley.

Biography

My name is Justin DeCesare and I am running for District 7 on San Diego City Council in June 2016.

I am a local businessman and broker in the Real Estate Industry, the President of your Tierrasanta Community Council, the father of two wonderful young children, and I am an 8-year veteran of the United States Navy.

I know our city has so much opportunity, and with my vision and hard work I will help San Diego thrive!

The most valuable lesson I learned in running a very large and successful Real Estate brokerage is that organizations succeed when their leaders are not afraid to seize current opportunities, and when they are not afraid to take risks and challenge mediocrity.

During 8 years service in the U.S. Navy, I learned that you cannot back down in the face of struggle.  The person you elect to represent District 7 needs to embrace hard work and be willing to use the elbow grease necessary to ensure YOUR interests are protected - not those of lobbyists,  campaign donors, and special interests.

We all know that a strong middle class builds a strong regional economy. When we work hard to build a career, buy a home, and carve out a life, we are providing the backbone to San Diego’s economy.

Your city council representative shouldn’t be afraid to come out from behind a downtown office door. Your representative should be willing to meet with neighbors, hear what is wrong, find what needs to be fixed, and identify where we can grow in order to serve your needs.

I am ready to take the challenge and lead the way for your neighborhood at City Hall in 2016 and I am asking for your support in the days and months to come!

I was proud to serve in the United States Navy and today I’m proud to represent my neighbors in the Real Estate Industry and as your President of the Tierrasanta Community Council.  I look forward to continue that service in our community as your San Diego City Council representative for District 7.
