Biography
I graduated from SDSU in 1992 with a BS in Accounting, and I earned my CPA license in 1998. My professional background and community involvement have nearly all centered on my accounting skills.
CPA licensing requires many hours of auditing. Auditing is a skill that really teaches a person to critically evaluate business operations. It is not until you have spent hundreds of hours making connections that you start seeing trends and patterns in operations and financial outcomes with any degree of savvy. The financial records are a “report card” of a business’s performance and ability to be a going concern. By identifying weaknesses and areas that could improve operational efficiency, an audit protects owners, investors, and lenders best financial interests. My experience has taught me that the numbers don’t lie and that life is NOT all about the bottom line.
In addition, I have a 21 year background in multi-family property management. I worked for Progress Management for 4 years while attending SDSU. For the past 17 years, I have managed our family real estate portfolio including 5 apartment communities all located in East County.

Politics is Personal. Being in a position to protect the foundation of our democracy is as necessary as protecting our children. Being an intimate part of the process and having an impact on the future creates a legacy for eternity. Perhaps that sounds too Pollyanna; however, I think as a high school civics student, that is what you see. You see your role in democracy as vital and your right to vote as an honor.
Then you grow up and politics look ugly and democracy looks broken.
If chosen to participate on the Republican Party County Central Committee, I will challenge my inner sophomore and revitalize my neighbor’s jaded impressions of politics and democracy by showing them community politics from a different perspective. I will show them how through knowledge and friendships, you can work together to solve the biggest challenges in your communities.
I will not allow my views to be restricted by my line of work and personal social interests, but rather upon how each decision I am a part of will positively impact the future of California, because Politics is Personal and this is my home. I want to see it protected and preserved, and that only happens through the actions of strong, intelligent and capable leaders who share the same values and desire the same outcome.

Political Philosophy
I am conversative politically and I always strive to understand all points of view before I take important votes on both of the Boards that I serve on currently. One of my goals is to have surpluses in the budgets of the two public agencies that I serve as a Board member. Having Board transperency is also a very important priority to me. The public should know exactly how we have voted on issues and what subjects we will cover on upcoming agenda items. Following the Brown Act carefully and having accountability on the Boards I serve are also very high priorities to me. I can be reached by phone at: 619-985-0752.
My Top 3 Priorities

- Increasing the effectiveness of the Republican Party in electing candidates that support the principles of the Party.
- Promoting compliance by Republican elected officials with the principles of the Republican Party.

Political Beliefs
Political Philosophy
I believe that the guiding principles for all government entities, federal, state, and local, are embodied in the Constitution of the United States of America. All federal, state, and local statutes, laws, ordinances, and regulations MUST comply with the requirements, restrictions, and rights set forth in that document. No elected or appointed government official should pass legislation, or enact rules or regulations, that restrict the rights of our citizens as set forth in the U.S. Constitution. The ongoing attempts by our elected and unelected government officials, including judges, to pursue a political agenda in violation of the Constitutional rights of our citizens constitutes a clear and present danger to the United States of America. To help fight this agenda is why I ran for election to the San Diego County Superior Court (successfully in 2012), and why I am now running for the San Diego County Republican Central Committee.
