My Top 3 Priorities

  • Ensure equal opportunities for all our neighbors REGARDLESS of Socio-Economics.
  • Hold elected officials ACCOUNTABLE that DO NOT perform and assist in educating the public on items they are responsible for.
  • Assist in fostering professional, working relationships with government agencies to ensure quality work and supreme customer service to our neighbors/residents of our city.

Biography

As an ex- grievance represenative for Continental/ United Airlines, I was able to advicate for a fair, safe and professional workplace for 5,000 flight attendants.  I maintained professional relationships with members of management while delivering the message of our members.  During my tenure as a represenative, I was able to win monetary awards for members that were wronfully terminated and assisted in avoiding heavy handed disciplineby members of managent to our workgroup.  I also assisted in our contract language and motivated members to become engaged with our union.  I now apply those same skills locally as a Parent Organizer at my children's schools and with the Latino Democrats.  I simply enjoy the role of organizer and educator, being engaged.  I am known to be a straight shooter and a team player.  Together, colllectivetly, we can have the kind of city, county and party that we desire to ensure a safe, modern and productive society.
