Sabrina Cervantes is a lifelong Riverside County resident with a proven record of advocating for the issues that matter to working families.

As the District Director for State Assemblymember Jose Medina, Sabrina is on the frontline working to improve the quality of life for Inland Empire families. Working with local stakeholders and community partners, she has fought to expand access to higher education, strengthen our regional economy, improve the delivery of government services to our most vulnerable citizens, and protect the natural beauty of Riverside County.

Prior to joining Assemblymember Medina's office, Sabrina served as a Director for the California Voter Registration Project, where she spearheaded strategic planning for field operations to register new voters and increase civic engagement throughout the state.

Sabrina's commitment to promoting equitable change is shown through her years of partnership with non-profit organizations that promote diversity, equality, and social justice. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the UCR Chicano Latino Alumni Association (CLA), and the non-profit organizations, TruEvolution and Women Wonder Writers. She is also a member of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), and the PICK Group of Young Professionals.

Sabrina holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a minor in Public Policy from the University of California, Riverside and completed an executive education program at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. 

Ken Park is a retired SCORE Senior Business Counselor and small business owner, a commercial realtor, and longtime community leader in Southern California. With over forty years working in the business sector, Ken understands the needs of our small business owners and local economy. He has worked one-on-one with entrepreneurs to help them breakthrough and succeed, and has dedicated his work to creating a brighter future for the local families of our community.

Ken was born in South Korea to a poor family. He began his lifetime of service and leadership as a child, serving as a Boy Scout leader and attending the International Jamboree in Seoul. From his involvement, Ken became captivated by the international community and longed to study abroad. Unable to leave his parents and six younger siblings who depended upon his support, Ken joined the South Korea military and served for three years. 

After his service, Ken enrolled in college and graduated from MyongJi University. With a degree in Business Administration, Ken began to work for the state government promoting Korean trade across the world.

Following his work in Korea, Ken relocated to Canada where he began working as a Social Worker for the Salvation Army. Following his passion for business administration and economic development, Ken went on to pursue a job offering with the CDN National Railway Corporation. In less than seven years Ken became CDN’s Railroad Comptroller. 

In 1987, Ken and his family came to the United States. He became a small business owner of a Chevron gas station and, later, a vitamin store. Ken’s success and experience led him to become a Counselor for SCORE, offering business mentorship to other small business owners, and his work has created 3,000 small businesses in the Southern California region.

Today Ken is a realtor, husband, father, and proud American citizen. A community volunteer, he continues to assist local residents and small business owners to this day.

Our community is exceptional but we need leadership that leads on the issues that are important to us. From quality jobs to affordable educational opportunities, our community is calling for a representative that not only understands the issues we face, but has the experience to move our District forward.

As the community candidate, I’m ready to bring proven experience to Sacramento to put our District first and get results for families.
