Community and family mean everything to me. I’ve been proud to call Orange County home my whole life and have played a part in making it a better place as a dad, a small business owner, coaching youth sports and scouting, even on the School Board, and as Mayor of Laguna Hills. My wife, Monica, and I live in the 45th District and are blessed to have four children who attended neighborhood schools.
The path that led me to run for Congress started long before I took public office. When my father passed away suddenly I stepped up to save the family business, managing a 200-store retail jewelry chain that provided for our family, our workers and their families. Keeping his entrepeneurial spirit alive as an Orange County small businessowner, I currently run a wholesale fashion jewelry business.
His passing taught me that when things look bleak – don’t give up, don’t back down. Running for Congress is no different. Where we are heading is unacceptable. I won’t let radical liberals dismantle our way of life. I believe in a Conservative vision to move Orange County families forward. I can get it done in Washington because I’ve done it here at the local level.
An active life-long Republican with unwavering Conservative values, I stood up for Orange County families as Mayor of Laguna Hills and as a member of the Saddleback Valley School Board. While serving on the Saddleback Valley Unified School District Board for 18 years, I also served as President of the Orange County School Boards Association, represented Orange County on the State School Boards Association’s Board of Directors, and was a member of the Board of Directors for the CIF Southern Section, where I promoted increased participation and safety in high school athletics. For several years I organized and directed the local Symposium on the Family, which works to educate parents and encourage local institutions to support families and children.

I am a strong advocate in building infrastruction along with the develpoments of new housing, this includes updating the roads within the area. As the population & businesses increase with traffic, so do the improvements. Pay as you go option, as it seems when they get all the money upfront, we never seem to see the completed projects and the money is depleted. Accountability for money spent.
I believe in Private Insurance, I am against ObamaCare as it needs complete REPEAL & REPLACE. Insurance options include across statelines and complete online complete medical records. Medical accountability
I do not support chain migration or the green card lottery. I support Highly skilled Migrants and legal immigration.
