I am a lifetime member of the Sierra Club and also serve as an outings leader plus I'm on the Angeles Chapter Sierra Club Political Committee.  I am also a trustee for my local NALC Union branch and a legislation liaison for them as well.  I have served on my local Neighborhood Council since it was founded.   These causes are important to me and thanks for your consideration.

Since my college years, I have volunteered in almost every election to help elect Democratic candidates and to support Democratic positions on Ballot Measures.  I have also volunteered in the AFL/CIO's Voter Protection project in Nevada for the last four Presidential Elections and traveled to Ohio to work against Governor Kasich's anti-public worker Senate Bill 5.  I am currently volunteering to elect Christy Smith in CD 25, Loraine Lundquist to the L.A. City Council and to help qualify the Schools and Communities First Initiative for the Nov. 2020 ballot to make large corporations pay their fair share of property taxes.

I am a member of the California Democratic Party Executive Board, Co-Chair the Voter Services Committee, serve as Secretary of the CDP Labor Caucus and am active in several Democratic clubs..

I am an experienced and committed labor leader / democratic activist, who walks precincts, registers voters and phone voters for the Democratic Party for over 30 years within California and to other states.  I support the California State Party Platform.  Currently actively working in the CD-25 Christy Smith for Congress and in the Los Angeles City Council race for Loraine Lundquist.
