Kimberlin has spent the past three decades building a successful career in and outside of
Hollywood. While she is best known for her prominent role in CBS’s award winning
international soap operas, the real-life Kimberlin is far more interesting than the character that
millions of Americans see every week on TV. She is a proud wife and mother, successful
entrepreneur, philanthropist, two-time bone marrow donor, and a passionate advocate for
women engagement in politics.
Kimberlin and her husband Gary have built several successful businesses over the years
including a sports fishing and marina rental business, and an avocado farm. She also owns and
personally operates her own successful design company, K. Brown Design. Like many small
business owners, Kimberlin built her companies from the ground up and now employs over 100
Californians.
Kimberlin entered the national political spotlight as a prime time featured speaker at the
Republican National Convention in 2016. She fervently spoke about small business, women in
business, and securing the American Dream for future generations. While she was invited to
speak at the RNC because of her role as an actress, Kimberlin’s other life experiences are what
have compelled her to run for Congress in the 36th district. She strongly believes that the
district has not been effectively represented and that her diverse track record of successes will
enable her to be a principled and effective, results driven leader in Congress.
Kimberlin and her husband Gary are homeowners in Palm Springs. She enjoys an active lifestyle
of skiing, boating, golfing, and spending time with her adult children when they’re in town. She
and Gary are also active in a number of charitable organizations and foundations.
