I like my coffee black and my whiskey neat. My favorite President is Teddy Roosevelt, though Abraham Lincoln and JFK do have some things going for them. I am a jeans and t-shirt kinda guy. I married my college girlfriend and have 2 kids, and a dog.

I have a degree in Aerospace Engineering, which in theory makes me a rocket scientist, in practice it means I know enough not to be making things that people ride in hurtling through the air at hundreds of miles per hour.

Freeway & Transportation (2 terms, 2011-2018)
Parks & Recreation (partial term)

I bring a modern, trans-partisan perspective and an engineering problem solving background, not a partisan rhetoric, argumentative, one.

As an engineer it is my political philosophy to not take any ideas off the table, to assemble experts, facilitate problem solving and create solutions. I believe that the basis of a good leadership and representation, for the all people, not just some of them, is rooted in listening to the actual people effected.

I will not fund-raise and/or campaign for a 2nd term. I will be a voice for “We the People” not any Party Agenda.
