My Top 3 Priorities

  • Education. Test scores in our district fall behind State Average. California will only be able to compete in a global market place with a world class education system.
  • Jobs / Housing need to be centered around transportation hubs so that Jobs Housing Transportation flow together, getting us to zero emissions and a clean and safe Environment
  • Environment; Water. We must be involved in catchment, storage, and implementation, of local water. 89% of our water is imported from outside sources. Its a stress on the environment and not a secure water future for California.

Biography

Patrea Patrick as a Documentary Film Producer, worked and uncovered and exposed the revolving door between Wall Street and entrenched Politicians in Washington and the non-Tranparent agendas infecting us at the State level. Her research exposed lobbying and oversight by the FDA to allow the chemical industry to run our Agribusiness rampant with toxins, GMOs and allowing Patents on our food crops.  Patrea is forging ahead for protections for our Electric Grid that are blocked by Utility & Government ties and the costs put onto customers. In the Environment, she didn't wait for more stalling. She took it upon herself and did tests on The Rocketdyne Santa Susana Field Laboratory Nuclear / Radiation disaster, revealing a 20 mile radius spread of radiation contamination in the valley! She marched for the clean up of the Aliso Canyon GAS disaster. Patrea believes that the Environment is ours to protect, not for corporate plunder. She, as an expert on grid security, will enforce that  a high clearance is necessary to work in and around electric grid facilities.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I believe the Environment is ours to protect, not for corporate plunder. I believe in protecting our seniors. I believe in universal health care, and to take profit and marketing out of the equation. I feel strongly that Education is the number one priority under our California Constitution. I will work to see that monies  being usurped and funneled from our education fund will stop. I look forward to working to get Education and industry to pair so that education will lead to jobs in our State. Water and the environment are huge issues that can make or break our States ability to survive. The economy and the environment are not separate entities. I have exposed waste and pollution and will work to increase California's local water supply and independence, and work towards technology, renewable energy, solar, creating new jobs.
