I’m a Santa Barbaran through and through, blessed to have been born and raised here, and proud of the values that being a lifelong part of this community has instilled in me. I went to Santa Barbara Junior High, High School and City College, and then graduated from the University of Southern California. Caitlin, my wife, (a District 4 kindergarten teacher), and I feel fortunate to be raising our little boy and our child on the way, in the same great place my parents raised me.
My father was a local orthodontist with a practice on State Street and my mother ran a small interior design business and antique store in El Paseo. Their hard work and deep love for Santa Barbara inspired me to pursue a local real estate business that would add value to our community. A business focused upon restoring and revitalizing neglected commercial properties into special places that honor our city’s heritage while providing new opportunities and experiences. In addition to my business, I’m proud to serve on our city’s Planning Commission, as well as on the Board of Directors for nonprofits Downtown Santa Barbara and Hearts Therapeutic Equestrian Center.
