I've lived and raised a family in District 2 for well over 20 years. In 2015, my neighbors and I formed Protect Niles to take back local control from a city government we saw as unresponsive to our concerns. We fought irresponsible development and won in the Superior Court of Alameda, and got a better deal for the district. In 2016, I was a founding member of Niles for Environmentally Safe Trains (NEST) to provide counter comments on the ACEforward plan to dangerously increase freight rail in the district.
In 2019, I accepted an appointment to the Fremont City Planning Commission, where I am currently Chair. I've earned a reputation for protecting our communities and requiring the highest standards from builders.
