My Top 3 Priorities

  • Current Economy - Gas prices, food prices, and high inflation are creating major hardships for the residents of our district, state, and country. I will fight to see that the health of our current economy improves.
  • Crime - Crime across our country is out of control. Over the past few years, crime rates have increased dramatically. As a former police officer, I believe that the police need to be provided the tools, support, and full funding to be successful.
  • Opioid Fentanyl Epidemic - The Opioid Fentanyl overdose death rate in the United States is appalling and is hitting our communities hard. These preventable deaths can no longer be ignored, and I am prepared to deal with this epidemic immediately.

Experience

Biography

I have lived in the CA-15th Congressional District for over thirty-two years to include the San Francisco Portola District and the City of San Carlos. I am married and the father of three. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a master’s degree in Public Administration from San Francisco State University. I was a Police Officer for thirty-three years and retired as a San Francisco Police Department Inspector (Detective). During my last fifteen years of employment with SFPD, I worked in the Night Investigations Major Crimes Unit as an Inspector. Night Investigations was a graveyard shift, plain clothes, citywide. I took pride in protecting and serving my community throughout my career and would like to continue my public service as your congressional representative in District 15. Issues and priorities that are important to me include the health of our current economy, crime, the opioid fentanyl epidemic, and homelessness.
