The focus of this candidate forum is general questions. The April 27 candidate forum will be on environmental issues.
All six mayoral candidates are scheduled to participate in a nonpartisan public forum on March 3, and it is free of charge to all members of the public.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions to the candidates regarding policy, safety, education, and any community-related concerns.

Chula Vista will have a new mayor for the first time since 2014. Whoever is elected will have to address the city’s structural budget deficit and try to bring a four-year university to the South Bay. KPBS reporter Gustavo Solis talked to four of the six candidates in the race.
