James McGee has over 20 years of experience practicing law in San Bernardino County. He is well-known and respected for his extensive knowledge of criminal law – particularly in the areas of violent felonies, search and seizure, and gang prosecution.
During his 12-year career with the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office, James McGee had developed a well-rounded understanding of the various aspects of the criminal process during his numerous assignments involving:
- Hardcore gang prosecution
- Violent felonies – murders (including murder with special circumstances), shootings, robberies, carjackings, burglaries
- Wiretap prosecutions
- Insurance fraud
- Civil commitments for mentally disordered offenders
Since retiring, James became a small business owner when he opned his law practice; he currently employs two attorneys and two paralegals to handle both criminal defense and civil matters.
