A lifelong Sacramentan, I brought to the board my experience and skills earned through over 50 years as a community activist, a 32 year dedicated state employee, motherand grandmother. I attended schhoold in the Twin River District and received my Associate of Arts Degree from Sacramento City College. Once voted in as Trustee, I pursued my masters in Governance fromthe California School Boards Association to acquire the addiditional knowledge and tools needed to be an effective schoool board member. I have served twice as president and once as vice president and have been elected delegate for the California School Board Association.

My Top 3 Priorities
- Ensure the implementation of a solid districtwide police policy handbook to better provide Department accountability and transparency,
- Support the hiring of more nurses, behaviorial interverntion specialists, counselors and paraeducators. having these resources can greatly enrich our children's learning experience and aid teachers in their endeavors
- Advocate for the return of student board members,which helps to promote civic engagement among our youth in schools
