My Top 3 Priorities

  • Our most urgent issue is public safety. We've seen a steady uptick in crime and fire/emergency runs in Sacramento, and our city council simply needs to do more to provide the safety and security that our residents need and want.
  • One of our greatest citywide issues is our homeless crisis, and it touches on every aspect of life in Sacramento. We must find financially sustainable solutions that provide the unhoused with the services they need to become self sufficient again.
  • Sacramento is in the midst of a severe housing crisis and the cost of housing, in many cases, has reached unprecedented levels. The city must do more to ensure that we build significantly more high quality housing across Sacramento.

Experience

Biography

Our community is a great place to live. I’m a government accountability and finance expert who’ll work to make it even better. I’ve provided strategic advising and auditing services to governmental and private organizations. My experience will allow me to add value to District One on day one.

As a public servant, I will prioritize public safety and work to help the unhoused. I’ll invest in our parks, schools, and libraries, ensure we complete our levees, and champion an employment corridor along I-5.

I’ll use my project management and budget expertise to maximize your tax dollars, bring investment, and make it safer. That’s why our current senator, Dr. Pan, our current councilmember, Vice Mayor Angelique Ashby, former Mayor Heather Fargo, former City Councilmember Ray Tretheway, and Sacramento County School Board President Karina Talamantes endorse me.

I’ll work hard for you, I’ll improve our quality of life, and I’ll bring the kinds of employers and jobs that make life here even better. As a Natomas resident, volunteer, and community organizer, I love this community. I’ll put my experience to work and carry our community forward to its next chapter.
