Political Beliefs
Political Philosophy
Jon hopes to unite Napa County as one family, holding town hall meetings to address the community's concerns and reach compromises. He plans to advocate for marginalized communities, including the LGBTQIA+ and Latinx communities. One of Jon's top priorities is to increase both the quality and quantity of training for law enforcement officers so that they are best equipped to de-escalate conflict and promote justice. Furthermore, Jon understands the impact of wildfires on Napa County residents and plans to work with Napa County Fire and CAL Fire to provide security for evacuated areas and leverage technology to keep citizens safe. Finally, Jon hopes to address the homelessness crisis by instituting task forces to help transition people to better living environments and offer treatment for those suffering from mental illness or substance abuse.
