My lifelong passion for the outdoors and my love of teaching and learning led me to earn a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Masters of Science in Resource Interpretation. While serving in positions in the National Park Service, in academic institutions, and as a grant writer and recipient, I have learned the need for diligent and accurate record keeping and reporting. I value communication, honesty, transparency, and resourcefulness as imperative to our community’s prosperity. As a TUD Director, I will bring those values to the table.

Political Philosophy
As a 4th generation Californian, I learned the value of water from my grandfather who homesteaded in the Mojave Desert. During my college years, I experienced the economic impacts of the lack of reliable water during a decade-long building moratorium in San Luis Obispo. And while working in the Rim Fire as a federal Public Information Officer, I know firsthand how to work effectively in a high functioning team under extreme conditions.
TUD and our county are in unprecedented times. With your vote, I will put my abilities to work on your behalf as a TUD Director. TUD is facing big, complex, multi-agency decisions and we need to keep water and sewer safe and reliable. I aim to make thoughtful decisions for the greatest good in our community.
