My Top 3 Priorities

  • Covid - 19. Getting Staff and Students back safely and returning to campus full time according to health and safety standards.
  • Budget Management- preserving the line between needs and wants. To make sure that the Students' growth continues at a progressive rate. All the while helping the Teachers excel to meet the Students and the Districts desired expectations.
  • Campus Development - Over the years we have developed our Athletic and Technical areas of the campus. We need to focus on the classroom and structural aspects to move us into the future.

Experience

Biography

As an Alumni of Summerville High School I've been involved in the community and youth for the past twenty-five years. My involvements include twenty plus years of coaching football, ten years as a wrestling coach, six years as the President of Tuolumne County Youth Football, and eight years of on the Motherlode Valley Football League as the Vice President and League Rep. And most recently I began volunteering with my family with Relay for Life. My efforts will continue with our community involvement as my twin sons enter High School, my step daughters continue in middle school and my foster son begins his exciting senior year at Summerville High School.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I will be the voice of the Students and Staff as we push into this not so familiar future. I want to instill Summerville pride back into the District. I'm looking forward to joining the board we currently have, keeping the district budget is a high priority and also letting the Staff know we are here to push Summerville into the future. I hope to be a part of the push to get students and staff back safe and working to the future during this time of uncertainty.
