My Top 3 Priorities
- An equitable recovery to the pandemic and recession that keeps people housed, supports local business, and transitions us to becoming a model sustainable city. A city that is walkable, bikeable, and invests in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
- Housing for all income levels, addressing the crisis of housing affordability and availability. We should build affordable and middle-class homes, protect renters, shelter our workforce, and strengthen the diversity of our neighborhoods.
- Adopt an “outreach first” approach to homelessness with 24/7 crisis intervention, where social workers connected to resources interact with people instead of the police. This reduces crime, saves taxpayer money, and treats people with decency.
