Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

Jason will bring financial oversight to the school district's budget, one of the core responsibilites of a School Board.  He has experience in both budget planning as part of his day job as well as overseeing budgets as a Board member.

Jason believes in spending time in the community to directly hear and solicit comments.  As a School Board member, he plans to hold regular coffee chats with the community.

He is also focused on promoting diversity, equity and inclusion. During his time as Board President for the California Alumni Association (CAA), many new scholarships, alumni groups, and campus partnerships were established to support these initiatives.  Jason also served on the Basic Needs subcommittee for the University of California, Board of Regents.
