My Top 3 Priorities

  • Equity for All Students: My first priority is to swiftly desegregate Bayside MLK as identified by the CA Attorney General’s office. The most inclusive and sustainable way is by supporting our District's Comprehensive Education & Unification Plans.
  • Close Critical Student Gaps: Let’s reimagine learning environments to eradicate the opportunity, achievement, and technology gaps for our most vulnerable students (lifting up all students in the process).
  • Climate Leadership: We have an incredible opportunity to lead the way in our global climate crises while solving local issues and nurturing the next generation of environmental stewards. I walk the climate talk as the only green-powered candidate.

Biography

If you’re looking for a trusted leader who, over a decade of collaboration, has built deep relationships with residents and educators across Sausalito and Marin City, join me. I was raised to dream big by my multicultural immigrant parents. I’m a born bridge-builder and always look to inspire positive action and find common ground.

We have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to combine the best of our two public schools and create one world-class unified school that’s a model of educational excellence, social equity, and environmental stewardship. I’ll listen to all ideas and be a positive force for unity. No more “Us versus Them” or divisive rhetoric, only one, inclusive community.

As a parent volunteer, I led a successful cross-school effort that brought a revolutionary healthy meals program to 550 students. For ten years I’ve coached students in sports across Marin City and Sausalito. I’ve built the trust that’s called for in this moment.

My business degree from UNC-Chapel Hill; and experience as an Internal Auditor at Bank of America will ensure fiscal responsibility. My communications background as VP, Olympic Games Marketing will help share our new inspiring story, becoming a beacon of light for our Nation. Please join me!

3 Core Pillars to Our Unity Vision.

Come Together.

We first need to harness the collective power of our incredible teachers, administrators and community members at both Bayside MLK + WCA. Then come together as one unified, equitable public school. By using natural forces that bring humans together - Food, Sport and Art - we will overcome historic divides and become a powerhouse of educational innovation.

Build Sustainability.

We must build in academic, fiscal and environmental sustainability at every step. Academic programs must lift every student up and marry social justice with academic excellence to create integrated learning environments. Budgets must balance and be understandable to the community we serve. Programs must align to the needs of our planet. This is how we build impact that lasts.

Tell the World.

We have an opportunity here to lead the way for the rest of our country and our planet. When our academics are where they need to be for all kids, and we have come together as an integrated multi-cultural community, and also built sustainability for generations to come, then that’s a story we can tell the world.

Our Top 5 Priorities.

1. Equity for All Students.

2. Close Critical Student Gaps.

3. Climate Leadership.

4. Fiscal Integrity and Transparency.

5. World-Class Education Team.
