Biography

I am passionate about the value of an excellent public school system. As a parent and professional, I am selective on how I spend my time volunteering, focusing on education, the environment, and activities with my son (Del Mar 6th grader). I was appointed by the SF Unified School Board as a community advisor to oversee the $30MM public education and enrichment fund. In Tiburon, I have continued to focus on kids, education, and environment, volunteering as a coach for our son’s soccer and basketball teams and being appointed to the Parks Open Space and Trails Commission. In 2020 I joined the RUSD Strategic Planning Collaborative and participated in a calling campaign to support extending the Tamalpais Union High School District parcel tax. Recently, I led an effort to restore 5th grade Math Club during remote learning. With COVID, we will continue to have challenges and need board members who are familiar with technology and deeply committed to the community. I will collaborate with the faculty, educators, administrators, and all of you. I will bring creativity, flexibility, and insight to the RUSD Board. I ask for your support.
