My Top 3 Priorities

  • Safety First: Feeling safe at school is at the core of student learning. Evaluate the superintendent's scenarios, encourage open and vigorous debate, endorse and own the Board's decisions.
  • Anti-Racism Policy: Engage committee work towards an anti-racism resolution that drives policy for MVSD. Work with city partners, the high school district and MCOE to incorporate best practices.
  • Tech Plan and Facilities Management: The tech plan expired in 2019. Guidance and risk evaluation will be needed at the board level to execute these critical district needs.
